Run for over 70 years as family businesses on the site of the Sandhouse, we offer the personal friendly welcome of a traditional boat yard.

We will be pleased to quote for any works or services required. In addition to all aspects of work carried out on pleasure craft, we have undertaken work on a large variety of commercial craft including the R.N.L.I., H.M. Customs & Excise, London Fire Brigade Boats, Harbour Authorities, etc. We are also approved by all the major insurance companies for repairs.

As Volvo Penta dealers we are particularly proud of our engineering capability, headed by our foreman, Henry Knight. He has now won three out of the four biennial international Vista competitions organised by Volvo Penta, which is clear evidence of his exceptional knowledge and practical skills in the repair and maintenance of all marine engines.

Private pontoon moorings are available both in the harbour and up river by prior arrangement.
